Buddy Hield is hoping the Sacramento Kings lock him up long-term after a career-best season in 2018-19, but neither party has made significant progress, remaining at a stalemate, according to Jason Anderson of The Sacramento Bee.



Bogdanovic is a great piece to have, but in order to get a deal done now, he’d have to agree to an average annual salary of $12.85 million — one he would certainly exceed if he becomes a restricted free agent next summer and fetches a higher number from other teams. The Kings would still have the right to match, but it would be a decision they would have to think about, as they’re beginning to see the problems that stem from building a young and talented team.
